Long Beach, California- In honor of the City’s 33rd annual Pride celebrations The AIDS Food Store and LGBTQ Center of Long Beach will be hosting a duet of events on two days leading up to the festival and parade weekend.

- North Long Beach Pride hosted by The LGBTQ Center, Assemblymember Anthony Rendon, Councilmember Rex Richardson, and the Uptown Bar and Grill. Come out for a free celebration in North Long Beach in honor of Pride Month. $1 tacos, $2 beers, $3 margaritas, DJs, raffles, and more. - Brad Shore’s Happy Hour Mixer for The AIDS Food Store at L’Opera. Enjoy drink specials and appetizers with a donation of a non-perishable food item to the AIDS Food Store. There’s a million events leading up to Pride so kick it off in style with this event. 6:00-8:00pm at L’Opera (101 Pine Ave. Long Beach, CA 90802).

- Cocktails for a Cause benefiting The AIDS Food Store. Hosted by GED, this all-inclusive social event kicksoff Pride weekend. No cover. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Store, enjoy special guests, cocktails, and delicious munchies. 7:00-10:00pm at Padre (525 E. Broadway Long Beach, CA 90802).
- The Pink Party hosted by The LGBTQ Center and Queer Mafia. After Cocktails for a Cause, head out to the new WE Labs at the Packard for the ultimate kick off dance party. Featuring Jesse Montana and DJ James Kennedy (Vanderpump Rules), food trucks, cocktails, and signature pink decorating stations, there’s never a more fabulous way to get into the Pride spirit.
